I've read a number of great books recently and submitted their reviews to the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association. These reviews can be found in the JCCA March, 2016 issue found here:
The books reviewed are:
Fascia in Sport and Movement by Robert Schleip and contributing authors
Fascial Dysfunction - Manual Therapy Approaches by Leon Chaitow and contributing authors
Fatigue in Sport and Exercise by Shaun Phillips
Faster, Higher, Stronger - How Sports Science is Creating a New Generation of Superathletes - and What We Can Learn from Them by Mark McClusky
The first two titles are geared towards manual therapists and other health professionals.
The third titled is an excellent read for anyone working with a sport team/athletic population.
The fourth and final title is an easy but enjoyable read that would appeal to most sport performance enthusiasts.
To avoid redundancy, I'll leave my post at that. The reviews can be found on the JCCA website. I look forward to hearing any questions, comments or concerns you may have regarding the book reviews!
